OVERVIEW

KISS Tracker is a Chrome Extension that adds a project management interface (Kanban board, Gantt chart, and Table view) directly inside Google Sheets. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we process it, where it is stored, and what we transmit to third parties.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

1.1 Google Account Information

When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your Google account email address, display name, and profile photo. This information is used solely to display your identity inside the extension (e.g., in the assignee field and comment author display). We do not store this information on any server.

1.2 Spreadsheet Data

The extension reads and writes data (task names, descriptions, statuses, assignees, dates, comments, and custom fields) directly to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you designate. This data is yours and remains exclusively in your Google account. We do not copy, transmit, or store any spreadsheet content.

1.3 Collaborator Information

To populate the assignee list, the extension reads the sharing permissions of your spreadsheet via the Google Drive API. This returns the names, email addresses, and profile photos of people the sheet is shared with. This information is displayed in the extension UI only and is not stored or transmitted by us.

1.4 Trial and Preferences

We store the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage:

 - Trial start date (to calculate remaining trial days)

 - Plugin on/off state

 - Active view, sort order, and filter preferences

This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us.

1.5 Payment and Subscription Data

If you subscribe, payment is processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe. We receive only the confirmation that your Google account has an active subscription. We do not collect, see, or store any payment card details or billing information.

2. HOW WE USE DATA

- Google account information: to display your identity in the UI and to authenticate API requests.

- Spreadsheet data: to render tasks in Kanban, Gantt, and Table views, and to save changes you make within the extension.

- Collaborator information: to populate the assignee picker.

- Local preferences: to restore your last-used view and filters between sessions.

- Subscription status: to determine whether to show the trial screen or grant full access.

We do not use any collected data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. DATA STORAGE

- All project data (tasks, comments, settings) is stored exclusively in your Google Sheets spreadsheet, under your Google account.

- Trial date and UI preferences are stored in Chrome's local storage on your device only.

- Subscription status is stored by ExtensionPay in Chrome's local storage on your device.

- We do not operate any databases or servers that store your personal or project data.

4. DATA TRANSMISSION

The extension communicates with the following external services:

- Google Sheets API (sheets.googleapis.com) — to read and write your spreadsheet data. Requests are authenticated with your Google OAuth token.

- Google Drive API (googleapis.com/drive) — to read spreadsheet sharing permissions and verify your identity.

- Google OAuth API (accounts.google.com) — to authenticate your Google account.

- ExtensionPay API (extensionpay.com) — to verify your subscription status. Your Google account email is shared with ExtensionPay for account identification.

- Stripe (via ExtensionPay) — for payment processing if you subscribe. We do not transmit payment data directly; this is handled entirely by Stripe.

No project data (task content, comments, spreadsheet rows) is ever transmitted to us or any party other than Google's own APIs.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

We do not retain any user data on our servers because we have no servers.

To delete locally stored preferences and trial data, uninstall the extension. Chrome will remove all associated local storage automatically.

To cancel your subscription and delete your ExtensionPay account, visit extensionpay.com or contact their support.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

KISS Tracker is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we change how user data is handled, we will update this policy and notify users via an extension update. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the latest revision.
